However with some changes in diet, lifestyle and addition of daily yoga practices we can live a very healthy life and practice a goos spiritual life".

Our bodies are made of physical and subtle layers. The physical body which is composed of three humors called kapha, pitta and vata can get imbalanced and deranged.
This balancing needs to be done by the cleansing processes.

In this retreat we will practice

Dhauti: Cleansing of the stomach to eliminate acidity and digestive issues.
 

Shankhaprakshalana: To eliminate the dirt from our colon, colon cleansing to avoid colon cancer and keep our excretory organs healthy. 

Neti: Cleansing the nostrils and sinusus. To have a healthy face and sinuses.  

Trataka: Purify the eyes with agni and avoid cataract in old age.  

Besides this we will also strengthen the body and mind with  
1. Suryanamaskara: Sun salutation , worshiping Suryanarayana to invoke his blessings. This will improve digestion and strenghthen the body.

2. Asana: purifies the muscles and balances the body.

3.  Pranayama : Purifies the breathing and thought process. Pranayama is the process of increasing the duration of life. Increasing the clarity of thought.

Yoga means Union with the Divine. This union is achieved by the purification of body,mind and intelligence.
Yoga is not just Asana but an entire lifestyle. It includes eating, sleeping, proper breathing, meditation and surrender to the supreme. Mind and Body Rejuvenation Retreat is a unique retreat which covers all limbs and aspects of Yoga.  Yoga for the body includes learning to cook food as medicine, ayurvedic cuisine that consist the age old science of fasting and healing properties..

Cleansing the body with various Kriyas such as Neti(nasal cleanse), Dhauti(stomach & esophagus cleanse) , Shankaprakshalana(colon cleanse), Trataka (eye sight cleanse).

Our Asanas sequences are the traditional Hatha Yoga flow

Yoga for the mind and intelligence include Deeper meditation techniques, Study of the classic Yogic texts like the Yoga Sutras,
Bhagavad-Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Gheranda Samhita.

                                                              How is this retreat very unique ?
This unique retreat not just teaches you asana but focuses on complete lifestyle, including cooking the right way. A proper lifestyle can reverse many chronic diseases. Along with all the above components of yoga we will also teach Ayurvedic cooking. This cooking will help the body  receive a lot of natural nutrients that energize the cells, and boosts the release of toxins with the help of yogic cleanse. During the cleansing process, the body experiences repair and healing that is supported with ayurvedic teas and and rejuvenating soups etc.
Detox juices help to reduce food cravings and binge eating that leads to being obese or overweight.
This retreat is a great way to take control of your health and help you make significant lifestyle changes by learning some great ayurvedic cooking healing foods from the cookbook ~ Food For the Soul & dive deep into Yoga practices from KRSNA YOGA ~ The Comprehensive Guide To The Inner Secrets Of Yoga.

We will learn various types of pranayamas which will improve our breathing and in turn our thought process.
 
  Chakra Meditation : Our body has various energy points called chakras. They control various glands. By chanting the required mantras the chakras become activated and all the bhutas or elements are purified. This leads to increased clarity in mind and intelligence. Our energy levels will also shoot up with this.   

Yoga Nidra: One of the ways of eliminating the anxity and stress and overcome stressful thoughts is yoga Nidra. Its is a practice when done properly will purifiy the sub-conscious mind and will help in visualization of our future plans and vision. It is a very good practice to re-energize ourselves.  

  JapaYoga : We will also have a japa workshop(chanting of holynames on beads) to enhance and deeepen our spiritual practices. Applying the proper yoga postures which creates awareness and better concentrations resulting in good quality & attentive JapaYoga.
 
Srimad- Bhagavatam, Gita and Yoga Sutras : We will study the deep connection between control of mind and achieving love of  God in the philosophy classes every afternoon. This sessions will be unique as it will be conducted by one who is both an ashtanga yogi and a Bhakti-Yogi.

Tentative Schedule
Day 1
Morning  6 am : Cleanse  Neti, Dhauti, Sankhaprakshalana, Trataka
9 am : Tea  followed by Asana
11 am: Chanting and Meditation : How to practice , an introduction
1 pm : Light soup
2 pm : Yoga as in the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad-Gita and Bhagavatam
4 pm : Walk outside nature
7 pm kirtans
8:30 pm light dinner/rest
Day 2 :
Morning 6 am : Dhauti, Neti and Trataka
8:00 am: Tea followed by Asana
10 am : Japa and meditation circle, Deeper aspects of meditation
12:30 pm : Ayurvedic lunch
1:30 pm : Yoga Sutras, Gita and Bhagavatam Further discussion
3:30 pm : Outdoor activity with families
6:30 pm : Kirtans and Katha, family fun
8:00 pm light dinner/rest
Day 3
Morning 6 am : Neti and Trataka
7:00 am : Tea followed by Asana
9:00 am: Meditation Session 3 - Concentration of the mind
11:30 am: Session on Bandha and Mudras
1:00 pm: Ayurvedic lunch
3:00 pm: Yoga Sutras, Gita and Bhagavatam Further discussion
4:30 pm: Outdoor activity with families
7:00 pm: Kirtans followed by dinner and rest
Day 4
Morning 6 am : Neti and Trataka
7:00 am : Tea followed by Asana
9:00 am: Meditation Session 4 - Concentration of the mind
11:30 am: Mudras deeper aspects
1:00 pm: Ayurvedic lunch
3:00 pm: Yoga Sutras, Gita and Bhagavatam conclusions
4:30 pm: Outdoor activity with families
7:00 pm: Kirtans followed by dinner and rest
