Rama Raw Salads (I)

Welcome to RAMA RAW SALAD's !!!
In general people believe that eating raw is healthy, going on raw diets are becoming common these days, vegen plant based food etc etc ! But you will be surprised to know according to Ayurveda raw food are considered cold, rough and hard to digest. It is said in Ayurveda that digestive system is referred as fire. Hence salads are good along with salad dressing which have some form of fat (oils, ghee) to balance the dosha and help the raws to digest/cleanse and nourish our body, mind and soul. Here at foodforthesoul.net will be introducing the concept of eating raw food based on Ayurdeva and yogic text. Great herbs and greens with combinations of salad dressing which have few herbs, spices, oils and nuts for not just taste but also  good for health.

It i also stated in Bhagavad - Gita, chapter 15 text 14 purport By His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.

pranapana-samayuktah
pacamy annam catur-vidham


Translation:
I am (God, Lord Krsna) the fire of digestion in every living body, and I am the air of life, outgoing and incoming, by which I digest the four kinds of foodstuff.

-According to Ayur-vedic sastra, we understand that there is a fire in the stomach which digests all food sent there. When the fire is not blazing, there is no hunger, and when the fire is in order, we become hungry. Sometimes when the fire is not going nicely, treatment is required. In any case, this fire is representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Vedic mantras also confirm that the Supreme Lord or Brahman is situated in the form of fire within the stomach and is digesting all kinds of foodstuff. 
Ingredients :here in the image i have all organic carrots (red, yellow, orange &white), lettuce, bell peppers, avocados & celery. you can make a combination of salads greens of your choice . 

​Avocado Parsley dressing : In a blender add the following : 5-6 nos almonds, half of avocado, 1 cups of chopped parsley, 1 inch piece of ginger, 3 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp of raw honey, 2 tsp black pepper powder, 1 fresh lime squeezed and half a cup go water and himalayan pink salt as needed.. Blend until fine smooth and creamy. Blend for a minute and wait for few seconds and blend again for 4 to 5times until to get a creamy texture. Mix with he salad and offer in to Supreme Soul the creator of such beautful colors, flavors and nourish your soul.
