Recipe
Wash, rinse, and soak moong dal and rice overnight. The next morning, grind the soaked grains with all the other ingredients into a fine paste like the consistency should be that of a dosa or pancake batter and then add freshly chopped cilantro(mix well).
Now heat a cast iron pan on a medium flame for 5 to 8 mins. Grease it with coconut oil and gently wipe off with a cotton washcloth.
Then pour a large spoonful( use a sizeable rounded cup spoon)of batter on the pan and then, starting from the center, in a clockwise direction, gently spread the batter with a gentle pressure just enough for it spreads around and thin using the same spoon.
Wait for 3 mins and pour some ghee/coconut oil/olive oil with a spoon all around the dosa in clockwise directions. The sign that it's baked/cooked well is that it turns slightly yellow/golden color, as shown in the image, and leaves the pan from the edges.
Use a flat spoon and lift it by first working on the corners and then gently slide the spoon to the center and lift it. Repeat the procedure for as many dosas you would like to make. Offer the FOOD for the Soul to Supreme Lord Krishna and nourish your soul with divine remnants of the Lord.
