A simple home made Hari Hari Hummus great to dip with veggie chips, tortilla chips or even with a cheese grill sandwich.
sometimes with Parathas as well :)....
Here are the ingredients & the recipe ...
Ingredients :
2 cups of Garbanzo beans (soaked over night & pressure cooked until soft.)
2 cups of freshly chopped parsley .
1 small size serrano pepper.
1 inch piece of ginger.
2 tbsp Lime juice.(freshly squeezed)
1 tbsp Honey.
1/2 a cup of olive oil.
Salt as needed.
half a cup of water.(remains from the water used for boiling the Garbanzo beans)
Recipe: In a food processor first add ginger, Serrano pepper, hand full of boiled garbanzo beans and water and blend until smooth paste. Now add all the ingredients except the parsley and blend. You don't want the garbanzo to be like a paste, it should be slightly coarse as shown in the image. In the end add the fresh parsley and pulse grind until its nicely mixed and coarsely grind. Adjust water to thick and thin desired consistency.
Offer the Hari Hari Hummus to Lord Hari and honor to nourish your Soul.
