In Ayurveda, spices are believed to have medicinal properties and are often used in the treatment of various health conditions. Some common spices used in Ayurveda include turmeric, cumin, coriander, ginger, fennel, and black pepper. These spices are believed to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and digestive properties, among others. They are often used in the preparation of herbal remedies and are believed to enhance the therapeutic effects of other herbs. Additionally, spices are believed to help balance the tridoshas, Vata, Pitta and Kapha, the three fundamental principles that govern health and well-being in Ayurveda. Our spice mixes are meant to kindle the digestive fire (Agni) based on the state of digestion based on ones state of agni and the body type.
